The time is coming when an army of young warriors will hit the streets - fearless and bold beyond anything we have ever seen. Even death itself will hold no fear. They will cry to the church “REPENT” and to the comfortable, “SELL what you have and GIVE TO THE POOR”. They will be hated and despised by religious authorities. They will openly decry the TV preachers and eschew the watered-down pap that passes for ‘gospel’ in our day. They will reject sin and love people - even the homeless and the very least. Utterly pure of heart, they will befriend the prostitutes and the gang bangers. They will look and sound just like Jesus.

Absolutely baffeling. Brooke Sheilds is selling/promoting perscription eyelash medicine for ppl with “inadequate eye lashes”.
I feel like getting old is a great privalege and not a bad thing at all. Yeah? Take care of yourself but don’t waste you days constantly trying to look younger.
Live well; age well.
so not only does daughtry use the bleeding cowboy font off of dafont.com (nice pull @aekingdom) there is also a nestles water ad on their official music page… is the music industry really hurting that bad? ad space and mediocre design?!
about to dive in. brb ^^
Sorry about the double posting facebook. Won’t happen anymore!
every time i get off the phone with @jeremiahaja i feel this creative burst and all i can do is just try and write it all out before i lose that momentum.
great convo with @jrbrinson at sbux today. 3 hours felt like such a short time when you connect with ppl. got offered a position at a non profit and i have to say im pretty stoked. im going to have to think about it for a minute and see whats going on long term with some things, but i am where i want to be. being a creative director, not sure how i’ll do! on my own i think i work well and have def found my rythm. directing a team of 6 people! now thats another story.
so i spent quite a bit of my day today messing with footage i took at my desk and trying to correct the flaws. i must have read like 8 blogs, 3 hack sites, and a couple podcasts. honestly there is a TON of information out there, but not a lot of straight-to-the-point info that i was looking for. so basically what i learned today:
1 crushed blacks and desaturation look bad ass
2 depth of field CAN be simulated in after effects with DV (filmed wide angle with no aperture)
3 color correction is an art form all its own
so i took some of the successful effects and put them in a little short.
hope you enjoy!
